Getting work done on Loom is easy.
You start by creating a profile for yourself and providing details about your company, which will allow you to post projects to the platform. Project postings differ in price, depending on which features you want to utilize in your search for a freelancer. See our pricing page for details.
Each project goes through a review process before it is public on Loom. You may be required to make updates to your project before it is approved. This process ensures only quality projects are on Loom and helps employers optimize their project postings to attract better talent.
When your project is approved and active, we identify freelancers that match your needs and make them aware of your project, encouraging them to submit proposals.
Freelancers will submit proposals on your project that include their hourly rate and the type(s) of compensation they are interested in (cash and cash/equity mix). View profiles of the freelancers that have submitted proposals to evaluate their level of experience. You can respond to proposals of your choice to setup interviews or choose decline proposals from developers you’re not interested in working with.
When you pay for a Standard or Premium project on Loom, you can browse our database of freelance talent and invite qualified candidates to submit proposals on your project.
When you've found the freelancer you want to work with, execute a work agreement and start working.
When it's time to pay your freelancer, they will invoice you through the Loom invoicing tool and you can make payments directly through our secure payment center, which is powered by Stripe - and industry leader in secure payments.
