Loom takes confidentiality very seriously for both our employers and contractors. And in many ways, our business depends on it.
Sharing of personal contact information is prohibited until a contractor submits a proposal on a project and the employer responds with a message. Once both parties have agreed to exchange messages, you are free to share personal contact information, discuss project details, setup interviews and get work agreements in place.
This process protects the privacy of all parties and allows Loom to provide valuable help along the way.
Prohibited personal contact information includes: last names, email addresses, phone numbers, social handles, Skype usernames, company names, links to other freelancing services and links to personal or company websites.
